TWENTY

In my last week of being 20 years old, I've decided to take some time to reflect on the past year and the whirlwind it has been to remind myself of all the great times I have had and also the not so great times (because those are important too).
Hope you enjoy rewinding 365 days and reminiscing with me...

What else did my twentieth year of life consist of?
  • Well, I got the Flu again…that was brilliant, Ben also got it from me - at the same time!
  • I actually got interested in the world cup…for the first time in my life
  • Countless roast dinners, homemade pancakes and Uber Eats Mcdonalds…
  • Hundreds of pictures of my little Teddy and Miley
  • Earned a promotion at work
  • Took out a gym membership, went twice, cancelled gym membership after 4 months of wasting money
  • Being screamed at by psycho females in car parks
  • Managing too many events to even remember (especially with my memory)
  • So many amazing and fun memories with my 2 best friends, closest family members and boyfriend

Not to forget all of the hard times I have faced this year, being unhappy in my job for about 4 months and in turn, ultimately taking this unhappiness out on those around me (subconsciously of course). I came to the realisation that I need to separate my feelings towards my professional life and my personal life and have overcome many hurdles in my personal relationships and everyday challenges.
I am going into my twenty-first year as a much wiser person with a wider perspective on life as a whole and therefore know that this year will not be all sunshine and rainbows (although..that would be very nice!). I expect it to have it's ups and downs like my twentieth year...the main difference? I know how to best deal with these challenges and what the possible consequences of dealing with things the wrong way will be. Everything happens for a reason and whatever happens this year, in the long run will be the best for me, so here's to another year of LIFE!
